Travel To India

Any tour to India will always start with the first question in mind how to travel. What flights, weather to combine flights with hotel or go for a complete package. But with alittle thought and planning it can be worthwhile. Here is a little help to start with.

If you are planning on a Pre-Booked Holiday

  • There are many European budget airlines flying direct to Goa from the mainland UK and Europe.
  • There are many pre-booked operator tours few weeks long which can be booked.
  •  As well there are numerous tours medium stay tours typically 2 to 3 weeks long with well-known operators such as Intrepid. These tours offer a comfortable and easy, though not cheap, way to experience India.

Tip:

  • Even if you are planning to organize the tour on your own it will help to look at a tour operators brochure or website which will give you good ideas for your own trip planning.

Local Tours and options

  • When touring local it is better to go for local tour opertors which are cheap compared to western operators. Many of these operators have online presence. So you can prebook them from their websites.
  • You can get a lot of tours with relegious theme if you are interested in them.
  • Many domestic airlines in India provide unlimited travel passes for international tourists which can range from 7 days to 21 days or a month.
  • Indian rail also provides fares combining with hotel as packages which are worth consideration.
  • Be aware of any major festivals or holidays that will make it impossible to get a train ticket or a hotel room.
